From an early age, I have had a passion to help others. I recently found a proposal I made for a business in 6th grade that was a non-profit to help raise money for families who could not afford medical care. So to say this has been a life-long passion is an understatement. Having worked in pediatric healthcare for over a decade now, I have seen countless times where families were put through the ringer trying to get equipment for their kids just so they can go to school.
One of my favorite movies since early adulthood is the animated film Robots. I am inspired by the story of a humble group of ragtag friends taking what they have and rising up against the "big guys" to see change in their world. I inspired to do that same. As Mr. Bigweld always says: ''See a need, fill a need".
